Right of Withdrawal

1. Scope

Use of World of Pharaos is free of charge. You only enter into a paid contract with VidiScope GmbH when you purchase Taler packs; the following withdrawal notice applies to these purchases. There is no right of withdrawal for the free use of the Game.

Regardless of this, you may end the terms-of-use agreement for your game account at any time, informally and without giving reasons, by deleting your account. The deletion function is available in the game under Settings → Security → "Delete Account". Alternatively, an informal message to office@vidiscope.com is sufficient. Any unused Taler are forfeited upon deletion (Terms, Section 14a).

2. Withdrawal Notice (Purchase of Taler Packs)

The following notice applies where you purchase Taler packs as a consumer.

Right of withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (VidiScope GmbH, Römerstr. 27, 89250 Senden, Germany, phone +49 731 25089010, email office@vidiscope.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

3. Important Notice: Early Expiry for Digital Content

When you purchase Taler packs, we begin performance of the contract immediately after payment is confirmed by crediting the Taler to your account. Your right of withdrawal expires once performance begins if (1) before the purchase you expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period expires, (2) you confirmed your knowledge that by giving this consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, and (3) we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium (email) (Section 356(5) BGB). You give this consent and confirmation in the shop by ticking a separate checkbox; a purchase is not possible without it.

If you validly withdraw from a purchase (e.g. because the conditions for early expiry were not met), we will deduct from your account the Taler credited from that purchase that have not yet been used.

4. Model Withdrawal Form

If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may fill in the following form and send it to the contact details given above. Use of this form is not mandatory.
